Irish, 77, of De Pere, WI, who passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at his home.

Mike was born on August 24, 1948, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Donald and Deloris (Kasten) Irish. A 1966 graduate of West De Pere High School, he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Soil Science with a minor in Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. A lifelong learner, Mike often said, “I have never learned enough. I am always being educated.”

Mike proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1977. In June 1976, he married Dana Haney at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashwaubenon. Together they built a family and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

Throughout his career, Mike held leadership positions across the agricultural equipment industry, most notably at Landoll, where he retired as Senior Vice President of the Farm Equipment Division. He also served in key roles with Brillion Iron Works Farm Equipment, Lindsay Brothers Farm Equipment, and Power Lawn Equipment.

Mike was a dedicated member of the ąű¶ł´«Ă˝, serving on the FEMA Board of Directors and contributing his expertise and leadership to the industry he loved.

Outside of his professional life, Mike was active in his community through the Brillion Lions Club and American Legion Post 126 of Brillion. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, golfing, and fishing, creating countless memories with family and friends. Above all, Mike treasured time spent with his family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Dana; sons Jeffrey (Julie), Sean (Becky), Nathan (Barbara), Matthew (Leah), and Thomas (Sarah); 12 grandchildren; and brothers David (Mary) and Mark (Joanne).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna VanRossum.

Please join the ąű¶ł´«Ă˝ in offering condolences to the Irish family during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brillion Lions Club, Green Gives Back, the Gary Sinise Foundation, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or H.O.O.A.H. Wisconsin (Helping Out Our American Heroes).

What began at our founders’ kitchen table has grown into one of the region’s most established wholesale distributors. We remain family-owned and family-led, with the same commitment to relationships that has guided us from the start.

From our four locations in Lakeville, MN; Fargo, ND; Portage, WI; and Huron, SD, we serve a network of more than 1,000 independent retail dealers across eight states: South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, northern Iowa, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, northern Illinois, and eastern Montana. What sets Edney Distributing apart is the strength of our dealer relationships. Many have partnered with us for decades and count on our team to know their market, stock the right products, and stand behind every order. For the manufacturers we represent, that means a distribution partner with deep regional reach, a reputation built over three-quarters of a century, and people who stay engaged from first conversation to final delivery.

We’re proud to be back as a member of the ąű¶ł´«Ă˝, and we look forward to deepening our connections across the industry– and to meeting fellow members at this fall’s convention in New Orleans.

Burrows Enterprises Celebrates Production of 5,000th Roto Grind Tub Grinder /news/member/burrows-enterprises-celebrates-production-of-5000th-roto-grind-tub-grinder/ Thu, 21 May 2026 17:20:52 +0000 /?p=35875

Burrows Enterprises, LLC is proud to announce a major milestone in company history — the production of its 5,000th Roto Grind Tub Grinder, completed during the first week of May 2026.

The family-owned company, manufacturer and marketer of the Roto Grind Tub Grinder and Grain Grinder product lines, is celebrating nearly five decades of innovation and growth in the agricultural equipment industry.

Founded in 1977 by Harvey Burrows, Burrows Enterprises began as a small family operation focused on designing and manufacturing agricultural equipment. Harvey Burrows developed and patented the unique Roto Grind Tub Grinder design that helped establish the company’s reputation throughout the industry.

Royal Burrows began working alongside his father when the company was founded. In the early years, Royal and his brother handled much of the welding, assembly, and painting themselves as the business worked to establish its footing in the market. Royal also traveled extensively across North America conducting demonstrations, developing dealer relationships, and growing sales for the company’s equipment.

As demand increased, Burrows Enterprises expanded its manufacturing capabilities and continued refining and improving the Roto Grind design over the years. Beginning in the 1990s, the company expanded internationally, establishing dealers across numerous countries and building a strong global customer base that continues to grow today.

Now in its third generation of family leadership, Burrows Enterprises remains committed to innovation, quality manufacturing, and serving agricultural producers around the world.

The company’s leadership and employees expressed pride in reaching the 5,000-unit milestone and were excited to share the accomplishment with fellow members of the ąű¶ł´«Ă˝.
