As a result of the $56 million investment, its annual production capacity is around 30,000 metric tons of off-highway tires.

When the plant begins to operate at capacity, it will employ 500 people and manufacture medium- and small-diameter tires for agricultural and industrial machines.

The plant is a strategic choice by BKT to not only increase production but also make it more efficient.

The company characterizes the facility as state-of-the-art and said it represents a reorganization of departments and work flows for maximum efficiency.
