Don Landoll | ¹ū¶³“«Ć½ Our Members Bring Choice, Value & Innovation to Agriculture Thu, 29 Feb 2024 17:39:25 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=5.2.4 /wp-content/uploads/2023/09/fema-favicon-75x75.png Don Landoll | ¹ū¶³“«Ć½ 32 32 Landoll Presented with Legacy Award & Business of the Year /news/member/landoll-presented-with-legacy-award-business-of-the-year/ Thu, 29 Feb 2024 17:31:55 +0000 /?p=27130 Don Landoll, President & Founder of Landoll Company, LLC was presented with the Legacy Award & Business of the Year at the Marysville Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet.  Nearly 300 people were in attendance for the annual banquet and awards ceremony. Don was presented the Legacy Award by Michelle Boss Brent, a former resident of Marysville, and someone he personally flew to medical appointments for 14 years. Michelle was diagnosed with a brittle bone disease at a young age and had to be flown to Shriner Childrenā€™s Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She thanked Don for his generosity, ā€œI truly do not think Iā€™d be walking today if not for their care. And I owe that opportunity to one man, and thatā€™s Don Landoll.ā€ Don enjoys helping those in need and takes pride in the many Medical Flights he has taken over the years. Landoll Company, LLC recently celebrated 60 years in business and has been a member of FEMA since 1972.

]]> Shortline Legends Hall of Fame Awards Presented at Fall Meeting /news/landoll-applequist-honored-with-shortline-legends-award/ Tue, 07 Nov 2023 14:14:53 +0000 /?p=25560 Kim Schmidt, executive editor of Farm Equipment, and Mike Lessiter, president of Farm Equipment, presented  and  with Shortline Legends Hall of Fame awards during the ¹ū¶³“«Ć½ (FEMA) Marketing & Distribution Convention in Kansas City, MO on Nov. 2. 

The inaugural class of the Shortline Legends Hall of Fame includes Roy Applequist, founder of Great Plains Mfg.; Don Landoll, founder of Landoll Corp.; Joe MacDonald, founder of MacDon; Jon Kinzenbaw, founder of Kinze Mfg.; and Gary Vermeer, founder of Vermeer Corp. MacDonald died in 1991, and Vermeer died in 2009. Kinzenbaw was not in attendance at the FEMA ceremony.
