King Kutter, Inc., a manufacturer known for quality farm equipment, is celebrating their 45th year as a family-owned business. Its product line includes an array of 3-point implements, such as rotary kutters and gear drive tillers, ATV/UTV equipment, as well as skid steer attachments. Each piece of equipment manufactured this year will feature a commemorative 45th Anniversary decal.

Company Vice President Candice Luts remarked: “King Kutter, Inc. has been a part of my family for many years. My grandfather, Jim Fraley, bought this company in 1978. My father, Phillip Fraley, served as President and CEO for over 35 years. It’s amazing to look at where it started and make plans for the future. It’s our honor to carry on the tradition of American manufacturing to another generation.”

Sherrod has been part of the agricultural industry for 22 years, spending the past 12 years as a sales manager at Bondioli & Pavesi. He was elected to the Association’s Board of Directors in 2019 and previously served as chairman of the Supplier Board of Governors.

“King Kutter had the opportunity to work with Jon in his previous position,” said CEO Randar Luts. “Jon’s experience and what he stands for aligns well with King Kutter’s values. He is a great addition to our team. I am thrilled to have him on board.”

King Kutter, Inc., is a family-owned business based in Winfield, Ala. It manufactures rotary cutters, tillers, disc harrows, and other products for the landscape and agriculture markets.

“I have always enjoyed working with King Kutter,” Sherrod said. “It is a great company in an excellent position to grow. I am excited to be a part of the team.”

Sherrod began his new position Jan. 26.
