Montag Manufacturing is adding another metering system option for today’s crop growers.  The new addition is the 4.3 ton capacity Model 2112 that completes the lineup ranging from 1 ton capacity to the mammoth 16 ton units.  Adding another model supports Montag’s customer focus to provide equipment to boost the ROI of every size farm operation. This model’s design also provides more capacity for cover crop application. 

The new 2112 operates with the Gen 2 metering system with its industry leading precision application that Montag is recognized for.  The narrow tank makes it a better fit to mount on tillage implements with larger wings. And it adapts well for granular nutrient metering on planters.

At the same time, Montag is introducing a new tag-along cart that is a perfect economical match for units up to 6 tons or cover crop applicators.  It sports a basic rugged, dependable structure for a long service life.  The new cart provides an alternate option to Montag’s steerable cart line.

2112 Features:

• Montag Dry Rate Controller is standard
• Air delivery up to twelve 2” outlets, easily reconfigured
• Up to four sections can be configured, more can be added as needs change
• Sections are controlled by hydraulic motors and poppet valves for durability
