Granting the requested stay until the Eighth Circuit rules on the pending interlocutory appeal will serve the public interest and promote judicial economy. Granting the Motion to Stay avoids likely unnecessary discovery by all parties to this litigation. Further, a Stay will do no harm to Plaintiffs’ interests because SB 2289 is currently enjoined.
