S3 Enterprises Awards 2017 Bursary To Bracken Student

S3 Enterprises awards the Frank & Helen Rempel Servant Leadership Bursary to Amanda Mitchell of Bracken, Saskatchewan.

The annual $2500 bursary is awarded to the Chinook School Division graduate who possesses the building blocks of a servant leader, including honour, integrity, character and joy.

“Amanda exemplifies what we are looking for in a bursary candidate, and is a credit to her family and community,” commented Al Marques, S3 Manufacturing General Manager, “It is our pleasure to present this bursary to her, and we wish her all the best in her studies this fall at the University of Saskatchewan in the field of Agronomy. We look forward to her completing her studies in Agronomy and achieving her ultimate goal of using her studies to assist the farming community.”

Amanda has invested in her community and grown her leadership skills through coaching 4 to 6 year olds in hockey, refereeing hockey, along with leadership roles in her local 4-H Club and being a member of Frontier School’s SRC for the last 6 years. Amanda has been described as “the student every team and organization wishes for” by Mrs. Gail Balfour, Principal at Frontier School.

The S3 leadership team created the Frank & Helen Rempel Servant Leadership Bursary in 2012 to honour the company founders and their legacy of investing in others. For more information about the S3 family of companies or the bursary, please visit www.S3enterprises.com.
