Help for U.S. Manufacturers with Exporting
A new service through the U.S. Commercial Service Rural Export Council, Rural America’s Intelligence Service for Exporters (RAISE), helps manufacturers with challenges faced in exporting products.
RAISE research responds to three challenges/questions:
- Where should I export to?
- Why should I export there?
- Who are some potential partner companies?
The RAISE process is a top-down, funneled approach. Start with the world and then narrow it down until you reach the top markets for exporting. The service provides data to back up your decisions with the ownership/management of your company, and it provides clear action steps to reduce the time spent figuring out foreign markets.
U.S. farm equipment is highly competitive abroad with the U.S. exporting over $7.6 billion in farm equipment in 2021. There are many U.S. companies that export and you can too!
