Uber & Lyft
Uber and Lyft are both available in San Antonio. Simply download the Uber or Lyft app on your smartphone and use it to request a car to take you to your destination. Both services are similar and utilize local resident drivers. All cars are clean and drivers are friendly. The app makes it easy to pay for rides without the exchange of money directly with the driver.
Local Taxi Drivers
Taxi cabs are available at the outer commercial curbside at Terminal A. For assistance, please see the Airport Ground Transportation employee (wearing red shirt). Fares to San Antonio downtown areas start at $24 – $29 (U.S.) per taxi cab. (Up to 6 may share a cab, if both luggage and passengers fit safely.)
Car rental counters are located in the lobby of our Consolidated Car Rental Facility. Take the elevator or escalator to the Mezzanine Level in Terminal B and cross the Sky Bridge.
