This Association was founded more than 75 years ago to host this annual event, which creates opportunities for farm equipment manufacturers to find new links in the supply chain and get their equipment in front of farmers.

Contact Session
EMDA sponsors this session, which is designed to offer opportunities for quick introductions between manufacturers, wholesalers, and independent reps. It is 11:45 am to 12:45 pm Wednesday, October 28. Consider it a starting point for scheduling appointments with distributors later in the week.
Independently Scheduled Meetings
The convention schedule is structured in a fashion that allows time for individual meetings, and the hotel in New Orleans offers abundant out-of-the-traffic spaces to meet. You are encouraged to monitor the registration list on this web site and schedule appointments in advance.
Networking Opportunities
This Association and EMDA host three sessions together: a speaker session on Wednesday, a breakfast on Thursday, October 29, and a closing reception, also on Thursday. Of course, we cannot overstate the value of the simple “hello” in the hallways. Members from both associations cross paths every day.
Farewell Outing: Thursday, October 29
On Thursday evening, members will have the option to cruise the mighty Mississippi River aboard the newest addition to the New Orleans Riverfront, the , sister vessel to the legendary Steamboat NATCHEZ!
In a city known for exceptional dining, a dinner cruise aboard the Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS offers an unforgettable experience. Delight in a buffet of authentic Creole classics served in a relaxing, elegant atmosphere as you cruise the mighty Mississippi River. Sip on handcrafted cocktails (we’ll supply the food and good company, you’re on your own for your bar tab), enjoy stunning riverfront views, and immerse yourself in live New Orleans jazz that adds refined sophistication to your evening on the water.
FEMA & EMDA members will enjoy a private deck with plenty of time to enjoy both old and new friendships. Dinner and transportation are included in this evening’s festivities. Boarding starts at 6:00 p.m. and we’ll cruise from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The group should return to the Marriott around 9:30 p.m. Attendees are responsible for their own bar tab.
